looking to upgrade my HPE-500y with a gtxc 1050 ti, will it work with the bios?

Obviously this is a prebuilt, however I've been gaming on it for 7 years now and am looking to upgrade the GPU to a GTX 1050 ti.

Will the bios reject a gtx 1050 ti, making this idea to upgrade the system moot?

you should be able to use the 1050ti as long as it doesn't need a 6 pin.

at the same time, though, 7 years old is getting long in the tooth
