Hi guys, Newcomer here and recently been thinking of upgrading my PC after having it for around 3 years i believe.

My setup is below:

Gigabyte GA-H81M-S2H
Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz
Nvidia GTX 970
Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB
Team Team-Elite-1600 2x8GB DIMM DDR3 clocked @ 1600 MHz

I'll be honest and say i'm not very smart when it comes to this stuff so i have just copy and pasted from a benchmark site and other info i found.

Basically my main concern right now is that things just seem to be running slower than previously, games loading up slower, slower start up etc.

I am also noticing that games such as Rainbow Six Siege & PUBG are making my computer sound like a aeroplane taking off! Which is extremely off-putting. Could this maybe be an issue with my fans? I did recently attempt to clean my fans to an okay standard however i am still having the issues stated.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :) Kyle

Solution
If your fans are too loud, it means each fan is working too hard to keep your equipment from overheating. Try adding an additional case fan (make sure it doesn't cancel out the other fan's airflow) or upgrade your CPU fan. Also, for future reference, if you have no idea what to upgrade, you may not need an upgrade.

Thanks very much for the advice, I'll have a look at an additional case fan!
