I got this PC built for me from my brother, and I got it for Christmas so I have no clue how to upgrade, or build it, my brother could probably build it however. I am asking what CPU, Video Card, and RAM I should get, because Those are the primary things I need. From my understanding from things I found on the computer, it seems I have:

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 260 Processor 3.20 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System
and Im assuming this is my Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260.

I am looking for a low price, I will not give a price range since I don't know how much I want to spend, but I'm looking for something that is low on price if possible, I want to run games that I play often at good speeds, some of which being Battlefield 3/4, Arma 2, just basicly new games on atleast low, would like to be medium to high however in graphics, but get a decent fps, more than 30, would like a solid 60, but for this price range I'm assuming that wouldn't be possible. I'm not sure how to give my computer case since I realize certain parts may not be able to fit inside.

Is your computer good Godfish? Im assuming it is, all the things that I want you have for a total around 525-530, so if I bought what you reccomended in your signature for the second link should i run things fine.

Yes, and I personally don't have either of these builds. My computer is utter shit compared. I'm very interested in PCs however and am decently knowledgeable in them, at least for a 16 year old. I would recommend both of those builds to anyone on a budget here is the 600 dollar build running bf4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2br3AJjBiGM

Really, the things you have listed about your computer doesn't help very much. We need to know more about the specs.
What is the case?
What is the psu?
What is your monitor resolution?

But just judging from your processor, that is a fairly old build using a AM3 socket motherboard. All AM3 processors have been discontinued so you will need a new motherboard, which will require a new OS. In order to play new games, it may take a bit more than 500.

Ya and if you were to do anything I would just build a new one, and sell that one you have now.
