Hello All! Recently had the benefit of using these forums to buy a new AMD FX 8 core processor as well as a R9 390 Gaming 8G Graphics card. However, I think I found out that I do not have the power supply to turn on the graphics card as after installing the graphics card and the drivers I have a black screen. With this being the case I was interested in possibly finding a new power supply to meet my needs perhaps.

Here is a list of my current system specs:
Power Supply = Corsair TX 650 W
Graphics Card = Radeon R9 390 GAMING 8G
Processor = AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor 3.50Ghz
RAM = 16.00 GB memory (Not sure on the type)
OS = Windows 7 64Bit
SSD = Kingston 240 GB
HD = 1 TB Seagate
Motherboard = gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3

Budget: Trying to keep it around 150 dollars or less.

Thanks for your input guys!

I'm not really familiar with the Corsair TX series quality, but according to their website that supply has plenty of power to run you new GPU (single +12v rail @54A). You might want to try that GPU in another system if you can...

If you're looking to dump some case on a good quality PSU then you might want to take a look at the PSU Tier List here on Tom's
