This is the RAM I've been using for like 3 years now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226103

It's a 2x2gb ram as you can see.. so I can 2 more slots on my Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 motherboard.

Can I buy these? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226605&cm_re=mushkin_memory_blackline-_-20-226-605-_-Product

They are 4x2gb ram, and same company but I'm not very experienced.. so will they work or not? Does the timing have to be exactly the same? and the watts??

Please I'm looking to upgrade my ram to at least 12gb.. or 16gb.. so if there's no other solution.. other than having to ditch the 2x2gb that I have.. and getting new 4x4gb rams, then I guess I'll go with it..

Please tell me if there is an alternative though.. like if there are other compatible rams for my current 2x2gb ones.. THANKS A TON!!!!

My mobo is this: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z68%20Extreme4%20Gen3/index.asp?cat=

please tell me if it supports it.. I think it has 4 slots for RAM so I'm guessing it does.

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting these RAM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231628

Again, please tell me if I can get just add more RAM to the current 2x2gb (4gb) sticks that I have or not.. If I can't.. then I'll try to sell them to anyone, and get those 16gb TridentX RAM.

Thanks a lot man.

The Trident are good sticks (my favorite on Haswell, have them in both my rigs) as far as if they will work with your old sticks, no way of telling without trying, you could get 2 sets of the Tri's and one set might work with your old and the seecond set might not
