Here are the specs for my current rig:
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Gold 750w
MOBO: Intel DZ77GAL-70K
CPU: I5-3570k at 3.8ghz
GPU(s): 2x GTX660 sc (SLI)
RAM: 2x Kingston HyperX Red 8gb
C: Intel 330 series 180gb SSD
D: and E: drives are 1 and 2TB HDDs, respectively. Use D: to store games and E: for movies and tv shows.
"Monitor" is my 50" Samsung plasma TV.
Windows 10 Home Pro
Do you guys see any glaring issues with this setup? Anything I could/should upgrade this holiday season to get some better performance? Currently it handles most games at medium/high but it seems most game profiles don't handle the SLI very well.
Right now I'm looking at a 960gb SSD from SanDisk on sale for $199, which seems to be a steal. It would replace my D: drive so I can put my games on an SSD.
Other than that, to upgrade MOBO and make it worth it I would need a new CPU and that would be expensive... trying to avoid that.
Anyway, let me know what you think!
