Hello,

i am currently looking to upgrade my system as i have recently bought two 1440p monitors from Dell. I am mainly using my PC as a work machine, mostly for editing videos and other graphic related work. However every now and then i'd also like to run some games at decent framerates.

I bought my PC almost 4 years ago, back then i paid $1600 for it.
I'd like to know which parts i should be looking into upgrading now, my upgrading budget is sitting at around 500-650 USD

My parts are:

MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming - LGA 1150
i7 4770k (currently clocked at 3.9 ghz)
16gb DDR3-1600 (2 x 8192)
Nvidia GTX 770
700watt Corsair gaming power supply (i know this build doesn't need a 700watt power supply, but back then i didn't know that)
The case is a NZXT Phantom 410

Nothing is broken, everything is working fine and i am just looking to get as much performance increase from my ~600USD upgrade budget as possible.

However, since i only have ~600 USD right now, i can't upgrade both the CPU and the GPU, i could upgrade for example my i7 4770k to a i7 7700k and also upgrade my RAM (even though i already have 16gigs of RAM)

Or should i maybe upgrade my GTX 770 to a GTX 1070 and invest into another SSD ? Or maybe there are other parts that you guys think should be replaced. I'd like to hear your guys' opinion, since i don't know THAT much about PC's

Thanks in advance

Thanks. I haven't previously used dual monitors - can i get games to utilize both displays ? so that instead of running on one screen at 2560 x 1440 can i get them to run across both screens fullscreen at 5120 x 1440 ? And if the answer to that is yes: Will a GTX 1070 be enough?

Dual monitors for gaming does not look good, you have a big black spot in the middle of the image where the bezels are. Three is OK but not two.
