Hi, I am looking to upgrade my Video Card for 4K

PC's Specs:
Built around 2011
Asus p8z68 Motherboard.
16.0 gb of Ram
Intel Core i7 2600k CPU 3.40GHZ
I don't know my PSU

I currently have a Geforce GTX 460 SE Video Card in the PC. My PC is running Windows 7. I am looking for the best graphics card for 4k and it needs to have an HDMI 2.0 Port and be compatible with my Motherboard. I am not looking for a graphics card for gaming. Thanks

I would not recommend the 1030 or the 1050....I would at least go for a 6GB 1060, a 1650 Super, a 1660 (Ti or Super if you can find it for a decent price), or a 2060.

The 1050 is already 6 years old and overpriced for the power level that it is.

The 1030 is considered to be on the extreme end of entry level graphics cards only having 2GB of RAM. The one with DDR4 is to be avoided no matter what, as they made two versions, one with DDR4 and one with DDR5.

The version with DDR5 has a noticeable performance increase for not much more money... and Nvidia was blasted for this as the DDR4 version was considered to be a borderline scam and one of the worst graphics cards ever released in a GPU series. The DDR4 version actually came out "after" the DDR5 version. A real head scratcher in the world of graphics cards.

It doesn't matter if you're a gamer, 4K requires a graphics board with some power exactly like a gamer needs.
