To begin with... I am currently about to begin the process of troubleshooting (beginning with disassemble, clean, and reassemble) my computer which is booting up 50% of the time without signal to the monitor or power to the peripherals. Also, at times the desktop will just crash while gaming. Currently, I just leave the tower on and turn off the monitor/speakers as the PC doesn't wake from sleep properly sometimes either (peripherals light up but no signal to monitor). This all began occurring after my daughter spilled juice into the top of my tower through the fan, which prompted me to turn everything off and disassemble the entire desktop and swab, soak, rinse every inch with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry out over a few days. It slowly began showing signs of problems afterward whether due to the juice damaging something or I hooked something up improperly. If you happen to have a good guide for troubleshooting with a sequence of going through components I'd be thankful for the link. Anyways, I am going to begin upgrading my PC this year piece by piece and I am looking for input/advice. Thanks in advance!

I use my PC for:
Gaming currently at 2560x1080p (this may move to 2560x1440p at some point) FPS, RPG's, Action, MMORPG.

I currently have:

O/S: Windows 10 Pro

Case: Cooler Master HAF922:
I will be replacing this for 2 reasons... the first being that the case lets in quite a bit of dust, and the second being that my wife threw away all my hard drive parts that came with the case.

Primary Concerns:
Lowering Dust Intake, Temperature, Wire Management, Durability inside and out. Size/Weight are not an issue as long as it will at least fit what I currently have size wise.

Budget: $300, also looking for good fan suggestions.

PSU: Corsair RM750:
Bought this in 2014 if it isn't damaged I hopefully will not be replacing this as I don't imagine needing more than 750W (no plans for 4k currently or GLI/Crossfire).

Motherboard: MSI GAMING7 Z97:
Bought this in 2014 also but I am on the fence about replacing it due to the lack of onboard wi-fi/bluetooth, and DDR4 support (to my knowledge) but I still have not researched the impact switching from DDR3 to DDR4 will have on gaming. Purchased this motherboard before I moved into my current rental (with no ethernet in the bedroom where my desktop is)

Primary Concerns:
Strong on-board WIFI, Bluetooth, Future proofing while fitting my current CPU (if possible...)

Budget: $350 or Suggest Onboard wifi/bluetooth card solution that works better than my Netgear AC1200 Dongle.

CPU: Intel i5 4570K:
Hopefully I will not be replacing this due to damage and I don't see a need for a better CPU for Gaming at the proposed resolution cap of 2560x1440. I don't do much video editing/3d modeling etc. Correct me if I'm wrong, still rather new to PC Hardware and PC Builds.

CPU Cooler: Corsair H90 CPU Radiator:
Bought this in 2014, I haven't OC'd anything on my PC and don't plan to unless I need to for the last legs of my CPU's journey into the dark... I probably could've gotten away with air cooling but bought it anyway.

GPU: Galaxy GTX670 4GB
I will be replacing this first unless through my troubleshooting I find something damaged by the spill or time.

Primary Concerns:
Future Proofing (3-4 years of Max near Max settings on 2560x1440P), Freesync Compatible (unless the case is compelling), Display Port for Freesync on monitor (unless the case is compelling).

Budget: $400ish - this is pretty flexible if the performance increase holds it's value above this range.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GB (2X4GB) 1666MHZ:
Bought these in 2010-2011, will definitely be replacing them soon looking possibly at Corsair Dominators? Unless someone presents a better option.

Primary Concerns:
Performance, Thermal Output

Budget: $200

SSD: Samsung 250GB SSD
Not replacing unless faulty, will be adding a larger drive for more storage at a slower speed however. Will be using for OS/Game Installs

HDD: None
Looking for a good 1TB+ drive

Budget: $250

Monitor: LG 29UM67P Ultrawide Monitor 2560x1080P
I bought this around christmas time for $250, I wanted the BenQ RL2755HM but they sold out and then restocking at $340... 🙁. That being said I like my LG monitor, the ultra-wide aspect took some getting used to but I am eager to leverage the Freesync capabilities and see how it goes.

Sound Card: None the MOBO has onboard 7.1 soundblaster 2
Not sure if I need a sound card or will see a major difference with one? I am not an audiophile per se (deaf in my right ear) but I do love music and listen to spotify quite a bit while on my PC.

Speakers: Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround Sound
No adjustment/upgrade needed only listed for motherboard/sound card suggestions

Mouse: Logitech G9X
Considering moving to Razer Mamba Chroma

Keyboard: Logitech G15
Considering moving to Razer Blackwidow Chroma

Mouse Pad: None
Considering Razer Firefly.

Taking suggestions/advice for improvement on much everything aside from Monitor. Also willing to listen to why I don't need to change something for my usage.

Thanks again for reading my long winded, poorly worded plea for help!

*Not adverse to LEDs, and stuff being cool looking while being functional.
