Looking to upgrade parts on a old PC

So i figure it's time to upgrade a few things on my 5 year old PC. So I'm looking at getting a new GPU and upgrading to 16gb of ram.

I'm currently running Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3(rev 1) with a i7 2600k. Some generic adata ram (8gigs) and a amd 7850 2gb

I think Ive found what Id like to get, But i"d like some confirmation that everything will work ok together before i order them. I figure it better to ask now, instead of crying later.

Looks like money well spent! The 2600k should still keep up with the new GPU for another few years.

Do you have a SSD? That would be another good investment to make everything feel much more snappy.

yeah i got a 840 evo. I just notice the frame loss to much now. so looking to get them back with a new gpu and a few extra gigs of ram
