Looking to Upgrade Phone. Looking for suggestions

I currently have a LG Optimus F3 and its gotten a bit buggy so I decided its time for an upgrade. I don't really want to spend too much but anything below 250 is fine. And I'm looking for something with a screen smaller than 5 inches. I've been looking at the Moto E but it doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade from my F3.

If you could get your hands on Samsung Galaxy S4, that would be a huge boost with what you have. I owned a Galaxy S4 and an S5 and I sold the S5 and stick with the S4 because in my opinion is much better. But that would be +30$ on your budget.

moto x first gen is a good choice around 209 and the first lg g flex though it is bigger than 5 inches
