I have an ASUS Sabertooth 990 motherboard, I'm looking to upgrade the RAM to the max the motherboard can handle (which I believe is 32 GB). As far as I'm aware it needs DDR3 RAM, I was looking at the G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin PC RAM DDR3 1600, and then I was going to double up on it (to be clear: two sets of two so four cards total) - will that work? Is there something else that will work better?

It might work or not.

Perhaps shop for a 4x8GB kit.
