Looking to upgrade to Intel from AMD should I wait a few weeks and get the 6700k or go for the 5820k

The price difference is not very big between the two CPUs about $40. Both will need DDR4 from what I understand and I have the budget for a decent $200.00+ ish LGA 2011-v3 board. I don't really do any heavy work loads. I would basically run a GTX 970 SSC with it and game.I feel that passing up the opportunity to get a 6 core i7 vs a 4 core would be silly even if the whole upgrade is a few extra hundred dollars (I am assuming the LGA 2011-v3 motherboards will be a bit more than the new LGA 1151 motherboards. Also in the future if I did want to do some more heavy work loads like ripping DVDs or Blu-rays or even some light video editing it sounds like the 5820k would be advantageous. Plus I could also over clock the 5820k to match or come close to the 6700k right?
Thanks for reading.

5820K for sure, there's no guarantee you can get to 5.0ghz with the other processor and with a decent overclock on the 5820K in the just 4.4ghz area you would need to overclock the other over 6.6ghz to make up the difference of the 2 additional cores. i7 5820K is a much better idea. With the extra two cores, the 5820k will perform better in CPU intensive games like Civ5/Total War games, and gives you extra PCI-E lanes, should you want to SLi or add in a M.2 SSD for example.
