Looking to upgrade to SSD in laptop

I am going to upgrade a friends Laptop to an SSD and was wondering how I would go about doing this. He has been using the standard HDD drive for about a month now and its just too slow.

I have previous experience doing this with my desktop PC but i cannot remember too much.

Link = Access denied. Whole idea is to get an SSD with same connector and either install OS on it or clone the drive. It's same as in a desktop.
