If you really wanna upgrade i would say to buy ryzen 7 2700x and install on your current mobo and if it doesnt work keep the 1700 to update to the latest drivers to support ryzen plus. but i would recommend to just re-install windows might or might not help and maybe just take your pc apart and dust the living soul out of it.


Thats the thing, I've been looking at benchmarks for games I play with my setup (roughly), and my performance has not been achieving what its meant to. GPU and CPU usage hovers around 50-60%. Temps are more than good. Stripped drivers and reinstalled. Everything up to date. I just don't know what would be causing this.
