2. Get price so low as make Intel/AMD chips look unattractive
3. Performance/energy efficient etc, even if they have lack some of the more advanced features
4. Can prove no calling home to Uncle Xi and friends.

The US at this point is preventing export of their datacenter CPU's so this is the only CPU's that many Chinese companies will buy. Last year they already had 32 core cpu's for datacenters and this is the next gen cpu's.
