Get Ghips and Amphibians. Pod the exess engines/weapon to a very little
base. WCM that planet with your own base on it (Yes that works). Engines and
Weapons will be converted to Money, Metals and Ore. This will not bring you
much money but imense Metals. Exspecially good if Robots get a ally who has
a WCM (Thylium and Turbo has a lot Trit in them).
Whey playing Aczanny and have enough Ghips you can even think of moneymaking
with exess transwarps.

Not a big one but it could solve some mineral problems exspecially in a long
game.

They are converted to Money? What's the rational for that?

Can an Anti-Matter Maul target a Pod? If so, loading a pod with your
excess engines/weapons would work similarly.

No, on a base WCM it, get the goodies.
Ratio is 100% afaik.

Works only with WCM and Base. Not with pods, Not with other
superweapons.

Well I don't consider it to be a loophole and I ever do it if I can.
Fact is it only works good if you got enough Ghips and Amphibs over a
longer time to produce the goods. So its not giving the boost in early
game.
Futhermore look at the races that got the WCM. I don't have the
impression that these races win too often.
If you are an other race like Rebel with good native stats, get Engines
and Weapons like hell for free and get your hands on a WCM than you are
just lucky.
Same if you are Xtal and get a Scalar Wave Amp, no diffrence.

I find it a good feature for a two edged sword. You can fire this
superweapon and can destroy a whole base out of 100 ly. But you hit
only his population and natives, economically its often a short time
advantage for the enemy.

Notice that I asked if the "Anti-Matter Maul" could target Pods; not
whether the World Crusher Missle could.

Now I wonder if the birds are also cloaked in this discussion.
In any case they do not need it,ie. they have a good way to get
unlimited minerals.

And you are right, I also do not consider it a loophole, eventhough we
might consider if it should give the money back, but that is more along
the line of consistency then anything else...
