[SOLVED] Loose cpu? Fan

Hey

Im not too familiar with computers but while playing a game this fan came loose, I heard a sound and saw that it was like this, loose. How do I place it back in the spot it’s supposed to be? Or is there more to this? I’ve turned the pc off for now. The only thing that seems to be still “connected”are those wires? Behind it, I think.

The picture shows that your fan has clips on the sides. Those clips are supposed to hold the fan in place onto the cooler fin stack. Just push the fan back on until the clips gets stuck.
If you have the manual, or know the model of your cooler so you can find the manual online, it should tell you how to do it.

How do I place it back in the spot it’s supposed to be?

Just clip the fan back onto the heatsink.
