Loose Spacebar on Logitech K200

Hi, this may seem like a basic problem, but on the K200 it is not! I removed the spacebar to clean underneath it and now when I try to place it back on it just seems very loose, loud and not very responsive. When I removed the spacebar there was a metal bar attached to it, I just left that there and reinserted the spacebar. The metal bar does not clip into the keyboard at all, only the space bar. Can anyone help me fix my spacebar?

The metal bar should clip to the space bar and slot onto the keyboard itself or vise versa. There may be some stops on the keyboard for the Metal bar. It should be connected, its used to make sure the space bar pushes down evenly no matter where it is pressed.
