Loosing sound in windows 10

Hi there,

My friend recently had problem with sound in windows 10. It was not possible to restart computer so the only way how to restart was holding the power button and then eventually sound came back.

why is that? Is there any reason what occurs the problem ?

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver.
- Once uninstalled download and installed the Sound driver from the manufacturers site.
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.
- Your last option would be to reinstall Windows if all these will not work.
