loot increases

Spent several hours tonight researching new loot levels, fighting the mighty
Balroon, the hideous Blood Elemental and so on. Didn't seems that different,
really....lvl5 chest was also seemingly unchanged.

doh!

It's tomorrow for europa...must read those publish dates more carefully next
time!

Well, I only fought a regular troll and it had 184gp, a night sight
potions and a nice magic mace. The treasure chests spawning in dungeons
definitely got pumped up about 50% though.

I spent a couple of hours smacking Dread Spiders this morning and the
loot and gold has improved significantly. 500 gold per spider (up from
300) and I got some items that were absolutely amazing. My best was a
ringmail tunic that was 17 LRC and mage armor that I successfully
enhanced with valorite to have a total of 57 resists. I also got
several weapons with leeches greater than 30 and damage bonuses of 40+

Expect to hear massive bitching from all the smiths again as it's now
easy to get items far better than anything you can make with a bronze
runic (which is the best runic most smiths ever actually get unless
they have 10 bod collecting accounts)

Me too. I log on to Legends. Kill a ettin near my house. Over 200 gold on
him and a couple magic armour pieces. I ran around doing allnames, looking
for a players corpse, or someone looking like he just got killed.

FWIW: I won't be bitching. I enhance everything I get because I can't
stand the BoD system long enough to get runic hammers. More loot just
means more chances to enhance.

I feel the same way. I've learned to hate bods so much that everything
they do to make them less important makes me happy.

The people doing the most bitching are the ones running 10 accounts
full of smiths so that they can make real life money selling bods at
over-priced vendor malls.
