Running Asus VH222 monitor with DVI and 32 tv with HDMI.
CCC will detect the 222 as 1 ok, but when HDMI is plugged in the screen on monitor goes blank and comes back on with just the background no icons orcursor. The tv shows everything and cursor will work from desktop to tv. Running A10-5800K with Gigabyte A85 board. Changed and put in 6670 card and same thing happens. If HDMI is unplugged the desktop comes back to normal. Any suggestions what is happening???

Do you have the monitors set up as clone? Try dragging one of the icons you see on the TV to the middle of the screen. Do you see it on the computer monitor too?

Alternatively, you may have the monitors set as extended desktop. Can you drag the icon from the TV to the computer monitor?

Go to your display settings and tell us what you see.

I haven't tried dragging the icons. All disappear from the desktop monitor when the HDMI is plugged in to the computer. Unplug and they will transfer back. Also the monitor was No 1 on detection and when HDMI is plugged in they switch, tv becomes one and monitor is two. I haven't figured it out. Got to be something simple

I don't have this setup in front of me. Its for a friend in another place. I know that when the 6670 card was put in, before the ccc was installed both tv and monitor was showing duplicate screens. Its got to be in the software somewhere.

To answeer the clone question, I don't know how it is checked. I have tried all that I know to try in CCC and nothing changes. Its hard to run a cursor from another location and try to check things out.

As soon as I am able to get to the computer, I will check all this out and let you know. I am about 30 miles from the computer. I do appreciate the suggestions. This is the first time that I have had trouble with ccc doing this.
