Losing window 7

why do I have to refresh windows every 10 seconds if i'm not moving my mouse. as long as I am moving the mouse its OK. if i'm downloading I can not leave my computer. HP-100-5200z-64 bit windows 7.

Maybe you have power efficiency mode turned on? Turns off your display after 10 seconds. You can change all of that within power settings by typing in power on windows 7 search menu.

could be power saving settings or a screensaver.
