Question lost admin password. but can log in as normal user

Hi I have 2 user: A and B. A is the admin and B is the normal user. I lost A password/pin. Now I can only log in as a normal user with B.


If there anyway I can let B gain admin right? I tried all ways to recover password for B but it doesn't work. I was thinking the only way is to clean install windows again?

By design, a standard user cannot promote itself to admin.

If you do not know the admin account, your options fall to a full reinstall.
