Lost all pictures from my micro sd card!

I have a samsung S4 and when I recently traveled to Italy I stored almost all of my pictures, up to 8GB on a micro sd card. When I came home, my phone said I had no more room to store my pictures, so I removed the card. When I tried to put the card back in my phone or connect it to my laptop it tells me that I need to reformat and lose all my pictures. I have tried many different photo retrieval things on the internet, including ZAR, Vibosoft, etc. and they all show that there is 7.99 GB of used storage, but they are unable to find any of the photos or recover them. I am desperate to get my photos back!

When using the recovery software, did you insert the card directly into the laptop? You may want to try a separate card reader device.

Have you tried these tools? I have used PhotoRec before and it worked well.

You are luck that your cell phone has a memory card. samsung S4 sold in my country doesn't support memory card, we have to store all data on its built-in memory space. You can try memory card recovery programs to restrieve lost data, and such programs can be found online for free.
