Lost Carrot on a stick!

Help! I lost my carrot on a stick from Ghazrilla in Zul Farrak. I am not
certain whether I accidentally sold it,threw it out or if it just
disappeared. I tried to get the quest again and it says completed. Is there
anything I can do to get it back?

You might be able to. I lost my Barov Peaseant caller the same way and sent in
a support request saying roughly when I lost it and they gave it me back :)

That would be great! Thanks for the reply

You can try to petition, and hope the GM is in a very very good mood.

Most likely it is gone forever. Such is the way of quest items.

How do you petition? I did the question mark in game and opened a ticket 2
days ago but have not heard from anyone.

That's what you do. You should have a thing on the screen saying you have an
open ticket?

I have had that for 2 days with no reply. I would be happy to do the quest
again but it says completed.

You have done part 1 of filing a petition.

Part 2 is "wait."

As long as you have an open ticket, you just wait.

My experience has been that wait-times are greatly improved over the
early days, but your request may take longer, as it may require some
research into DB records (you can imagine how many people might try to
"scam" a carrot & stick, sell it, then get another.)

Anyone that knowingly would sell a carrot for a mere gold to go through all
this to get another is really desperate.

just w8, w8, w8... sometimes GMs need about 1 or 2 weeks before u get
the item back. i would like blizzard to implement a feature, that makes
all questitems buyable after u completed the quest. so u went back to
the questgiver and can buy the item (lets say for the double vendor
price). all questitems should be unique then...

Would be cool for powerlevelling enchanting. Or just becoming rich by
selling the shards. Nuff said 😱)

Got the carrot back today in my mailbox! About 72 hours after losing it.

Grats) I was very happy when I got my Barov Peasant Caller back. It's no use
but one of the few fun items I had :)

Yeah that's because you can sell the item to a vendor for that I think, not
some money making scheme by the GM :)

Your mount ate it. Obviously.

Check your inventory/bank for sticks with a string attached.
