Lost everything on my local drive!

After I set my ssd to my boot drive, it was cloned from my hdd. Now both drives have the same stuff. So what I did was I formatted my hdd and copied my ssd files to my hdd. Then deleted everything on my ssd (my local drive). Now I lost my wallpaper and all my apps. All that's left is my recycling bin. I can't right click my task bar items. My settings won't open. If I try to boot from my hdd it boots into recovery and gives me the options to reset windows but it gives me an error. What's going on. Thank you.

Why did you copy everything from the SSD to the HDD?
And then delete "everything" from the SSD?

Define "everything".
But overall, that's not how this stuff works.

Your OS on the SSD is looking for things (wallpaper, programs, etc), on the C drive.
You moved all that to the D drive, the HDD.

Doesn't work like that.

Never mind I got it fixed... All I had to do was move everything back, apparently there were files in the windows and user folders that messed my system up. Thanks for your response though!
