Hi everyone, here is the problem: I bought a 128 GB micro SD card for my Sony Xperia Z3 compact (android). I inserted the card and it was immediately recognized by my phone, so I thought there shouldnt be any issue, so from the menu I clicked capacity-transfer pictures, videos and music to SD card, as my internal storage was almost full. The process started, but after like 10 minutes, after all photos were moved, it said "file transfer interrupted". I looked whether the photos were transfered, it was showing them as preview, but couldnt open a single one and the phone started lagging and freezing. I restarted my phone and now it says that the SD card is damaged and it need to be formated first, but I cant access the card now at all and even if I connect my phone to my PC with USB I cant access the card, it shows as 0 bytes.

My question is, is there any way to recover the lost photos? Is there some kind of restore point, or any other way?

Thanks a lot

Its SandDisk Extreme Plus SDXC UHS-1 (80 Mb/s).
I have a backup, but its relatively old one. I didnt lose the music and videos, the file transfer was interrupted after the photos were transfered, but it would suck to lose them🙁 (some photos are prolly in that older backup, but definitely not all of them).

I dont understand how the mobile phone let me transfer the files in the first place, if it needed the card to be formated...I could have accessed the card directly after the transfer (even though it was crashing, but it showed the files are there), but after the restart, its no longer possible🙁

Update: I just tried formating it through the phone. After it was done (without errors), my phone doesnt recognize the SD card at all. I tried to plug it directly to my laptop through its adapter, same result, it doesnt even recognize the disc, it shows nothing. Is there anything I can do? Or is the SD card faulty?
