Lost key of bit locker

I have buffalo hard drive.I locked it for other people who could check my personal stuff,but my computer could recognize and read it. after reinstalling windows in my comp.my computer can't recognize hard drive anymore and I can't unlock it.it asks me bit locker key and I don't have it as I know.

why did you reinstall windows? you lost the authentication key by doing so
you might as well get a new drive because without a key you can't get in
its a security measure there is no way around it and yea we dont offer help with passwords on forums

Lots of easier ways to prevent access besides complete encryption, look into that next time, much more recoverable.

Did you skip making the recovery key when bitlocker asked you to?
