lost my motherboard dvd, and have to update drivers for my motherboard because of bluescreen issuses

hi
I have lost my moterboard dvd

latly my pc has been bluescrrening alot
pritty sure its about an hour after boot each time

so I have been googling alot for an answear for my problem and founf out that I probaly should update my drivers for my mother board

then the problem is that I no longer have my dvd

therefor I went to my motherboard's webside and found alot of drivers and things, but I dont know what to downlaod and how to install the updates.

another problem is that Im asked wich os that Im using
and the newest os I can choose is windows 8.1

so there isnt any way for me to update my drivers? beacuse when I see at the driver updates they are newer than my drivers

you would normally install the newest drivers that your motherboard vendor provides. Then when you have a bugcheck, you check to see what failed then go to the actual maker of the driver or chip and get the updated driver.
Most motherboard vendors do not actually write their own drivers. For the best chance of success make sure you have the most current BIOS version you can get for your motherboard. The BIOS versions are updated when new standards come out for hardware devices like SATA ports and USB ports. The updated BIOS might work with the generic drivers that windows provides.
