Hey guys, need some help.

Upgraded my laptops SSHD to a full SSD and was gonna wipe the SSHD

SSHD has normal 1TB drive and 12gb ssd

I wiped the 1TB no problem but the ssd portion could not be deleted because it was protected.

From here I used cmd prompt "clean" function, which seemed to work but I no longer see the SSD partition in my disk management. However the 1TB is there, working fine.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Hey there, Kenny.

It sounds like everything is working fine. I don't know what was the partition you think you've lost, but with SSHD (hybrid drives) the SSD part is managed solely by the drive's controller and you can't access or manage it in any way.

If you're worried that something might be wrong, you could always download the drive manufacturer's diagnostic tool and run the diagnostic tests, to see if anything out of the ordinary pops-up.

Hope that helps.
