Question Lost PCB in transit

Hi ,
I have a 2TB seagate external HDD from 2010 and had an an issue with it not getting detected. After analysis I found that it was an issue with the PCB, so I removed the PCB and sent it for replacement PCB with ROM swapping. However, it got lost in transit. What are my options now ? Does getting a similar PCB and replacing help ? Can data recovery specialists recover from this situation ?

Unfortunately there are only a handful of people who claim to be able to recover an F3 Seagate with a missing ROM, and they charge accordingly. :-(

you may want to talk to a laywer about trying to recover the cost of the lost pcb and cost to send the drive into a data recovery lab. if not look into you states small claims court if it under there max limit.
