Question Lost sound

OK here is what is going on, I am getting no sound out of my PC. We lost power yesterday and when my computer came back on there was no sound. when I hover over the sound icon on the bar it says that there are no connected devices. The troubleshoot from that tells me to restart the computer, done...over and over again. I have re-installed the drivers as well. the only other thing I have is the device status on all my audio devices says this:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Dealing with the registry is not something I have done before. Can anyone help me with this?
