Lost Win8 Activationkey, HELP

Guys i need help.
Okey so:

- I bought a laptop with win7 on it.
- Later i upgraded and bought win8.
- Then i reformatted my pc back to win7.
- Now i want to upgrade to win8 again, but i have lost the activationkey ((

Bought Win 8 from where? Contact them. Or look in your old emails.

I bought win8 from microsift, it was an online download. But i have a DVD just not the activationkey

I dont remember which email i used. When log in to microsoft account with mine and my dad's i dont see any purchases :/

But i can just search in the email

Microsoft's online key system is rather annoying. They just deliver the key via email and there isn't any other method of looking it up. If you don't find a copy of that original email you can try calling them but they're absolutely awful to talk to.

In the future I recommend printing off the key and putting away together with the disc. This has saved me many times in the past.

Yup. All my license keys are
1. Saved in an encrypted Excel file
and
2. Printed on paper, or printed directly on the CD/DVD (lightscribe)

Im kind of a noob when it comes to that...

Well, currently, its just ZIP file encryption. Not the greatest security. But just enough.
If anyone actually has access to this drive and that folder, I have much larger problems to worry about other than losing the license key to Adobe Lightroom...
