Lost Windows 10 after factory reset

C55-A5300 factory reset...chose option to remove everything...it asked me what version windows I would like to reinstall - I chose windows 10. After everything, it reinstalled windows 8.1 ...how do I get windows 10 back?

I have done this a few time now.

Easy way: download the tool in link below and try to do an upgrade (choose windows 10 was already install)

If it does not work, you can use this tool to download iso, create a media installation (dvd/usb key)
Since win x was installed before, it should activate itself.

Use the media download tool to put a bootable image on a 8GB usb pen drive and then upgrade from that or you can do a clean install and never go back to Windows 8.1.

Same issue here, was so incredibly frustrated i accidentally dialed a fake microsoft help desk. When the indian dude picked up he cheered me up really fast because i got to mess with him a little bit.
