Lost Z77 extreme4 driver disc and rebuilt computer cant connect to internet

So i ended up finding this website to download all my drivers, but to no surprise, my computer doesn't connect to the internet after installing every single program on this list including the bios internet flash. how do you install everything correctly for the z77 extreme4 in order for it to work properly? i haven't changed anything in the bios or anything, so i'm guessing that's what i have to do. i know i need a cat5 cable to connect to the internet but it doesn't, so maybe it's the instant flash i need. i just need help.

A PCIe LAN card might be an option. Check also the BIOS if needing to enable the LAN controller.

If Win7, did you try the Broadcom lan driver?

The only drivers you really need are sound, chipset (inf) and lan.

A PCIe LAN card might be an option. Check also the BIOS if needing to enable the LAN controller.

i see there's an option to boot from onboard LAN, is that what you're tlking about? basically, i selected system browser, it recognizes that theres a cable in there, but the option for LAN controller i can't find.

No he is referring to the card being disabled in the BIOS. You can turn off any devices you aren't using. Though I imagine a BIOS flash would have set everything to the default.

I would make sure your board revision matches the downloads you've selected from ASRock. Most motherboards go through a few before being discontinued.

I don't see why the drivers directly from the vendor for the appropriate OS wouldn't work. Why were you re-building? It is possible the system is now damaged in some way.

Have you tried just installing a newer operating system? Often they will include drivers to at least get the computer up and running. (My old nforce2 chipset computer runs completely on Microsoft defaults, and works quite well in Windows 7, here Windows 10 might offer you an easy solution)

i just cant find this option in the bios. i'm sorry if i'm nooby, i have finals this week so i cant look into it. basically what happened was the SSD i was using crapped out, gave a 0xc000000f error saying the boot drive was inaccessible. figured out it was a bad SSD, went to reinstall win7, downloaded everything ok, even downloaded the broadcam driver, but when i go into bios, i don't see any options for networking or anything like that.

There might be an option in the bios but doubt its that. Youd have no reason to turn it off and it would be a setting that would be enabled by default.

What does device manager say in network adapters? If there is a device description with no question marks then the os has identified it and should be functional.

Have you tried another or replugging existing network cable and does the router or switch port light turn on?

Are your lan IP addresses left on auto?

If the driver isnt installing properlly, try turning off user account control.
