Lot of confusion, please help..

I m afraid to waste money so i will ask you guys what i should do..
To be clear at the moment my configuration is:
I7 3770K , with Asus MB, 16 gb 1600 ddr3 and a GTX 1070. My monitor is an AOC I2481FXH (ips and FULL HD so 1k)

I really like the IPS quality but i can't afford a 2k IPS with 4/5 ms so what i can buy as good 2k monitor with still a nice "view" becasue i do lot of photo editing, watch movies and work over to play videogames

Your 1070 will have some trouble with playing games on 2k if you are planning on doing that

Why don't you keep your current monitor as a second monitor to edit photos and watch movies and then get a 1440p TN panel to play games on?

A good 1440p IPS display doesn't have to be expensive though, the IPS panels from the Acer G7 series are relatively cheap.

The GTX 1070 is meant for 1080p gaming and 1440p gaming at most. You will not get very good frames on most AAA games at 2k. The GTX 1080 is best suited for 1440p and maybe 2k.
