Lots of trouble after Windows 10 April 2018 update.

For some reason, I did not get the Windows April update until two days ago, but that is besides the point. After updating, my microphone decided to playback all audio to my headphones, creating an extremely ear-splitting feedback loop. Fortunately, this was an easy fix. However, what doesn't seem to be so simple is what the update did to my audio. Pre-update, my audio worked fine at around 15% volume, games were loud enough, and everything sounded fine. After the update, I have to crank it all the way up to 50%, and games are much quieter compared to other programs like Discord. Games sound much different, too, and music and videos slightly different. Would I have to roll back to a time before this update to fix these issues, or is there something I can do? Thank you for any help you can provide.
