Loud Coil whine

i was playing payday 2 for about a hour 1 hour and 45 minutes and 10 minutes after i turned it off i noticed the loudest coil whine louder than i have ever had before i have had it since the 28th of October. is their something wrong with the card i mean can a coil whine get really loud. Its a 7870 by gigabyte

You can try overclock or downclock it a bit, it helps sometimes.
