[SOLVED] Loud noise from Cooler Master CPU cooler

Hi there, I have a Cooler Master CPU AiO and it's about 2 and a half years old. It used to be super quiet but now every time I turn my computer on after it's been off for a while it makes this loud grinding type noise. It lasts for a few minutes and then it stops. I am told it might be air bubbles so I've tried uninstalling the system and shaking it to remove the bubbles and also turning the system on its side/upside down and running it for an hour or so, but the problem persists. CPU temperatures all appear to be normal. Any suggestions or is it dying and needs to be replaced?

When was the last time you clean out all the dust from the system?
Could be your fan is worn out and ball bearing inside damage.

There's not much dust in the system, I keep it pretty clean. Also I would have thought that the noise would be going constantly if it was a ball bearing issue?

you will never know until you check the ball bearing right?

I usually will put silicon grease in the fan ball bearing and clean it up often.
So that I will not face this type of issue.
