loud noise from cpu fan

I took old (7-8 years old) Packard Bell Imedia MCE 1615 xp desktop in car to relatives for them to use until we get them a new one. Now when I start it up I get a loud noise like cpu fan catching on cooling fins for about 40 second on startup. Ok after initial star. Anyone any ideas how to cure this?

Replace the fan the bearings in it is going.

I'm not sure the cpu socket. It maybe cheaper to buy the entire heatsink/fan assembly rather than simply a fan.
