Question Loud Rattling noise from fan

Last year I opened up my PC to clean the dust out of it, no rattling had occurred until I screwed everything back in. I’ve done the screws over and over, cleaned the fan as much as I can but the rattling doesn’t stop and it’s really annoying

I do believe it’s a problem with the fan, as when I spin it with the power on it makes the same noise

Sounds like the blades are hitting something. It is possible that it is off balance causing the fan blades to hit the rear or sides.

Since it is just a case fan you should be able to get a replacement for a fairly decent price.

This was happening to me but then I realized a wire behind the fan was hitting the blades so that could be it
