Hi all,

I'm having a weird issue with my system and would really appreciate some help.

In my initial 3dMark FireStrike run I got what I believe are normal results for my rig:

But, when doing a second and consecutive FireStrike runs I got around 2000 points less than my initial run.

If you look at the result details you can see that the big difference is made in the graphics score section, but I have no idea why, I've made no changes in the rig in between the tests.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Retry it again and this time, monitor the boost clock of both the CPU and the GPU using MSI Afterburner. There might be something changing since the boost clock might be changing, along with the CPU turbo clock.

Hi LighSwordM,

I've installed MSI Afterburner and tried FireStrike test again. You can see a screenshot of the hardware monitor here: http://oi61.tinypic.com/zx42ma.jpg

I had this issue turned out to be hyperthreading disabled on the CPU physixs score was holding me back:

Hi,
I've checked in the BIOS and Hyper-threading was already enabled.
Also reinstalled windows and the drivers and still got the low score.

You tried checking for bios update for GPU might fix it?
