Low 3DMark Vantage Score

Hey I just recently built my own computer and was testing out 3DMark Vantage which came free with my Graphics Card and I got a really low score.

I have an AMD Phenom ii 955 CPU,
MSI 790FX-GD70 Motherboard,
and a Saphire Radeon HD 4890.
I am also currently using Windows 7 RC


My overall score on the Performance level was: 10222

The CPU got 10765 and the GPU got 10053.

When it compared this setup to 14 similar set-ups I came at the very end of the graph.

I haven't overclocked anything yet so i know that everything is stable.

What is wrong?

Try rerunning the test. You will get different results.

Well I did and got 22 points higher so now its at 10244.
I think I found the problem though, my CPU Test 2 is 16.80 Steps/s. That seems really low. Is there anyway to improve that?

Also Comparing other scores of the CPU on the internet the get 20000+... mine just got 10877..
