Low and high settings

As an Xbox 360 player planning on building a £600 gaming PC, will I actually notice the difference between say medium and ultra settings?

Pc gaming over console is a huge step even with a £600 build.

From the xbox 360 you will notice a huge difference, from the xbox one it won't be as noticeable at 600.
