So recently I have encountered a problem with the volume on my PC. The audio volume seems to be around 75% lower. I am thinking it could be to do with the virtual audio cables I installed, but even disabling them does nothing. The audio was fine even with them installed for around 4 weeks. I just don't know why it started all of a sudden, maybe I changed a setting by accident?

If you've undergone update 1511 then there's a chance your drivers were erm messed up or a setting has changed. Try uninstalling your audio drivers and reinstalling them. Is this the VAC you're talking about? It shows to have support for up to Windows 8, so that leads me to ask, did you install this as is or in compatibility mode?

Perhaps shoot us your system specs.
