Hello guys.

I have been tasked to build a low budget computer (as cheap as possibly) for my uncel's kids. The most demanding game, he mentioned that they play, is CS:GO, and that low quality would by fine. Since I'm no expert when it comes to such computers, I thought I would ask you guys if this would be compatible and do the trick:

CPU/GPU: AMD A4-7300, Socket-FM2
Motherboard: MSI A68HM GRENADE
Power supply: Corsair VS450, 450W PSU
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1600 MHz 8GB Black
Case: In Win EM040 Mini Tower Black

Thank you in advance :)

Then that dual core and its iGPU will struggle at 1080p. You either need to add a discrete card like the GTX 750 Ti or GTX 950, or else move up to the fastest APU that the motherboard will accept.

you can get better for the price, make a new thread named

"$350 gaming PC"

ask for a 350$ PC build that can play CSGO

Specify if you need an os, monitor, mouse pad, keyboard mouse speakers etc... the hidden cost of PC gaming that no one includes in there build assuming you have them unless you have said so.

Say that it is going to be used for 1080p.

I would build one but i know others can do better than me and plus i currently do not have access to PCPARTPICKER

I would go with something more like this. It uses a bit newer A10 instead of an A4 and will have better performance overall, especially if he will be playing on 720p. At 1080p, it will be okay.

Which APU would be required for it to able to run csgo on low settings?

What you have now will run it on low settings.

Hey man, if the socket fits the APU, you've got a nice build there! The one special thing about going with AMD right now would be increased support for DirectX12 (given you run Windows 10 which you probably should). Also, you can put it in XFIRE once they decide to upgrade to a newer AMD GPU. AMD has got some nice stuff coming up with their CPUs and GPUs as well. Maybe you should wait but either way, it's a win win.

Looks good, the problem is that I live in Denmark, where electronics are more expensive, so this build is closer to 500$ instead of 340$.. Why both a 8 GB RAM and 2x4 GB?

Oops, I didn't mean to have both in there, only the 2x4 GB.

Here is something very similar for about 380 USD, but it is priced at a danish retailer:
A-10 7860k
ASRock FM2+ Motherboard
WD Blue 1TB HDD
Crucial Ballistix 2x4 GB
Corsair CX 430M PSU
Spire Diablo Case

I adds up to be about 2509 Krone which google tells me is 381 USD. I know it is a little over, but I was really trying to fit in that A10. Hope this helps

Thank you for the help. I've sent it to my uncle, and it seems like he is going to go with this solution :)
