Low budget gaming/others laptop

Hello all.

I am looking for a low budget (50,000INR ~ 800USD) laptop for gaming. Not INTENSE gaming but if it can run games on low resolution and mid settings its fine.

Some of my requirements:
1)Should be able to play dota (my current laptop with no dedicated graphics is able to play it so i guess any new laptop can do that 😛 )

2)HD videos and movies

3)Good on performance(like not getting slowed just cos an application is running and stuff)

4)Good enough battery life(I guess this could be optional but I dont want anything that is like SUPER HIGH END and LOW COST but with 30 mins battery life. LOL! )

5) At least 500GB HDD. (No compromise here. Maybe if I can get a 1TB then its fine but 500GB is more than sufficient for me)

6)Dedicated graphics. Fed up of intel on board HD4000 SUPER GAMING stuff -_- 😛


So basically it should be good enough to play some new games and not lack performance.

Please tell me about this 5400 SATA HDD thing also. I heard its not so good or something as such??

I'll get to the HDD first. You wouldn't want a 5400RPM for gaming, you will want a 7200RPM for gaming. It can speed loading times and many more. So try researching it.

Here's a laptop within the budget, but I am not sure if it a aisle in India. So check with your local store. : Most laptops which has a decent graphics card and 7200RPM are usually not below $800, so sorry about that. But someone else may find you one.

TALKING ABOUT IN COUNTRY INDIA,....... Get the HP envy k-101tx or HP pavilion p-077tx or lenovo Z50-70 FHD(59-429607). ... Preference in decreasing order ..... all three are best in there category for gaming for sure till date
In your budget go for i5 processors (as there is no i7 quad core available even after extending you'r budget greatly) along with the best graphic card in that category (maybe GeForce GTX 850m is best at Rs 56,000 in HP envy k-101tx at the time of writing)
