Low Budget PCIE Wireless Adapter

Ever since I built my computer I've been using a USB Wifi Adapter:

It honestly worked perfect for about 3 months until recently, I think it's dying from all the overheating since I'm constantly using it. So to get a more long lasting one, I'm looking into PCI-E adapters. Obviously there's a lot to choose from, so I'm looking for a little help in searching for one that fits a price budget of around 20-30 dollars and provides similar performance to the usb adapter above.

The gap between a quality USB adapter and a decent PCIe adapter isn't much these days -- but the generic devices (like the one you have) typically are lower in build quality and lack support.

For PCIE, this is a sold option

But the antenna's are on the rear only. Might be an issue, depending on the location of your router.

This Gigabyte option is marginally more, but has an extension for the antenna, allowing it to be placed in a better location
