I have been having trouble figuring out why my Cinebench score with my 8700K is so low. Everyone I see online scores around a 1600 and I am at 1400 no matter what I do or change. I have it OC'd to 5GHz at 1.3V with a Maxmimus X Hero WiFi AC Mobo and water cooled with a Corsair H110i. 32GBs of 3200 DDR4. GPU is the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X SLI. Windows 10 with 2 monitors (1440p) installed on a Samsung 960 EVO M.2 and everything else, mostly, on an HDD. My CPU idle temps are around 33C and my load temps are around 73C. I've tried looking at all my settings for the CPU and Power in BIOS along with Power settings in Windows and nothing is getting me to get close to the 1600 I feel like everyone else gets with this CPU.

Does your voltage dip during benchmark, if yes your could just change the LLC to Turbo or Extreme

I have this sort of Issue with the Latest Bios update for Aorus Z370 Gaming 5 motherboard ( F7 ) voltage won't stay put and diminish performance, I can't reach 5.0ghz anymore, but with the Bios ( F4 ) no issue getting to 5.0ghz and 1650+ scores and really stable @ 1.315V.

Just a little OC guide.

Change your Frequency to the desired number Ex:50

In the bios disable C1E, C3 .C6/C7,C8, C10 , Ring to core Offset, Cpu EIST,RTH, Energy efficient Turbo, Voltage optimization, VT-d.

Set your Cpu Vcore Loadline calibration to Turbo or equivalent for your motherboard.

Set desired Voltage EX: mine is stable at 1.315V with decent temps
